Bintan Island, beautiful island in Indonesia

Bintan Island is an island in Riau islands province, Bintan island is located about 50 miles south fromo Singapore. Tourism business is the biggest government’s income. In the north of Bintan island you can find Lagoi. Lagoi is tourist destination for people from Malaysia, Singapore and for peopl all over the world.
 
Lagoi
Lagoi area is styled with beautiful style and has been made good secure for tourist. Lagoi is like Nusa Dua in Bali, it has five stars hotels, golf course and SPA. Hotels use Singapore Dollar for payment. Although Lagoi doesn’t has airport but access to Singapore or to Batam is very good from Lagoi.

It is estimated more than 5,000 people directly or indirectly works in tourism sectors in Lagoi. People are given settlement, full dormitory with traditional market for daily need.


Trikora Beach

Trikora beach is located in east of Bintan. It is different from Lagoi, this beach is mostly visited by local tourist. You can find fishing village wlong the way of Trikora beach.

Mount Bintan

You will not bored in Bintan because there are many interesting places like Mount Bintan, you can climb the mountain passing tropical forest, the forest is 340M high. You will see beautiful view in the Mount Bintan.

Airplan
Bintan is near with Batam island, Batam island has international airport named “Hang Nadim”, it has many air destinations from and to cities over Indonesia. Bintan has Small Airport called Kijang, Kijang Airport has many domestic destination include Natuna island.

Ferry
Ferry is main tranportation to Bintan Island, there are many Ferries with any destinations. You can ask more information in any travel agent.
From Singapore or From Malaysia
There are many Ferry destinations from Singapore to Bintan from Singapore to Batam. From Johor Bahru Malaysia is also many Ferry to Bintan.
From other Island in Indonesia
Bintan island is connected with Sumatra island like Pekanbaru, Dumai, Palembang, Kuala Tungkal at Jambi and other ports. Bintan Ports also connected to Makarta, Medan, Pontianak and other ports.
